Daily Inspirations by Abraham Sekhar Day 26

We welcome you to the Daily Inspirations Program by Abraham Sekhar. Today we read Exodus chapter 13 from the Old Testament and Matthew chapters 21 and 22:1-14 from the New Testament. The Lord brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, and in Exodus chapter 13, the Lord gave them a commandment. The commandment was to consecrate all the firstborn. The firstborn sons were circumcised and consecrated and cleansed. This was a sanctification process, a cleansing process. They were also commanded to eat unleavened bread for seven days, bread without yeast. In Matthew 22:1-14, Jesus spoke in parables about a wedding feast. For a wedding feast, many were invited. When the king saw a man without a wedding garment, he told his servants to cast that man into outer darkness. As soon we accept Lord Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we must ask God daily to cleanse us and sanctify us and take away the old sinful natures. Let us not be like the man, but let us put on the new garment of salvation and live. Father God, we thank You and praise You. Please cleanse us daily and teach us Your ways. Help us put on the garment of salvation and walk in faith. Lord, please cleanse us of our old sinful natures, and bless us with pure hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
