Daily Inspirations by Abraham Sekhar Day 22

We welcome you to the Daily Inspirations Program by Abraham Sekhar. Today we read Exodus chapters 1, 2, and 3 from the Old Testament and Matthew chapter 16 from the New Testament. God brought Jacob and his family to Egypt. Joseph obtained favor and provision was given for them. But the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve them. When Godly people forget the living God and don’t trust in Him, they land in slavery or bondage. We must seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto us. We must focus on God’s kingdom. It is important to establish Jesus Christ’s rule on the earth through people who have received the Lord Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior that we may have provision and no scarcity and no worry. Exodus chapter 1, 2, and 3 is the account of the suffering of Israel in Egypt, the birth of Moses and Moses at the burning bush. God chose Moses to set the people of Israel free from bondage. Pharaoh’s daughter took Moses as her son. And when Moses had grown up, he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren, and killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. Moses fled and dwelt in the land of Midian. In Matthew chapter 16, Jesus chose Peter to lead the new generation of believers that became the church of God. God chooses people, and in these days, God has chosen us to bring His kingdom on the face of the earth. So, let’s seek God’s will in our lives and obey it. Father God, we thank You and praise You. Enable us to understand the purpose for which You have chosen us that we may see its fulfillment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
