Daily Inspirations by Abraham Sekhar Day 28

We welcome you to the Daily Inspirations Program by Abraham Sekhar. Today we read Exodus chapters 16 and 17 from the Old Testament and Matthew chapter 23 from the New Testament. In Exodus chapter 16, God provided the children of Israel with heavenly bread. The house of Israel called its name Manna. The children of Israel ate manna for forty years and were satisfied. The Lord also gave them meat to eat, i.e., the quails that came up in the evening. When the children of Israel were thirsty, God gave them water to drink. When God leads us, He gives us daily bread, daily meat, and daily water. We need to trust in Him. We must not forget in times of testing and hunger that the Lord will provide. In Matthew chapter 23, the Pharisees could not recognize the birth of the Messiah. They could not accept the heavenly Word that came through Jesus. Jesus said that He is the bread of life. The Lord lamented over Jerusalem, telling them that they didn’t recognize their Messiah. Let us not be like the Pharisees. We must not defile our mind and body with any of the things of this world. Let us know Jesus and believe in Him for every miracle that we need. Father God, we thank You for Your Word. Help us to learn Your Word and apply Your Word practically in our lives. May we acknowledge our Lord Jesus every day. We thank You and praise You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
