Daily Inspirations by Abraham Sekhar Day 30

We welcome you to the Daily Inspirations Program by Abraham Sekhar. Today we read Exodus chapters 25, 26, and 27 from the Old Testament and Matthew chapter 25:1-13 from the New Testament. In Exodus chapters 25, 26, and 27, God gave specifications to make the tabernacle. The Lord gave details on how exactly the tabernacle was to be made. The Lord gave exact specifications, i.e., the dimensions for the table for the showbread and the gold lampstand. God is interested in specific details of things. Today we consider ourselves as the temple of God. God is interested in everything about us, our spirit, soul, and body. He is interested in building us up and making us strong. We must take heed of all that the Word of God tells us. We must read God’s Word and understand it. God wants to prepare us to be His bride. We must be a bride without any blemish, spot, and wrinkle. Matthew chapter 25:1-13 is about the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. Ten virgins took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. The coming of the bridegroom was delayed, so for five of the ten virgins, the oil had run out. When the bridegroom came, the other five who were ready went in with him to the wedding, and the door was shut. As we wait for the Lord’s coming, how do we prepare this temple? We should carry the baptism of the Holy Spirit in us. We mustn’t take the things of God lightly. God is interested in specifics. Father God, we thank You and praise You. We thank You for Your Word. Please inspire us to be alert for Your coming. Help us not take things lightly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
