We welcome you to the Daily Inspirations Program by Abraham Sekhar. Today we read Genesis chapters 15, 16, and 17 from the Old Testament and Matthew chapter 6 from the New Testament.
In Genesis 16, we see that Sarah took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to Abraham to be his wife. Hagar bore Abraham a son who was named Ishmael. God blessed Ishmael and multiplied him exceedingly and made him a great nation.
In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus teaches us The Lord’s Prayer. He says, “And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” We must not yield to the temptations that we face. We need God’s grace and mercy to help us discern what is from Him and what is not from Him.
Father God, we thank You and praise You. 

Thank You for Your Word. Father, help us to not yield to temptation. Enable us to make wise decisions and understand Your ways. We thank You for teaching us Your ways.
