We welcome you to the Daily Inspirations Program by Abraham Sekhar. 

Today we read Genesis chapters 18 and 19 from the Old Testament and Matthew chapter 7 from the New Testament.
In Genesis chapters 18 and 19, Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah. He pleaded before God to not destroy the city if 10 righteous people were found. We can also plead before God to save our nation from destruction for the sake of the few righteous.

In Matthew chapter 7, the Lord talks about the way some religious leaders pray. They pray intending to be noticed by people. Prayer must be genuine, from the heart. Just the way Abraham, a righteous man, pleaded and interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah, we too must pray for the nation with our hearts.

Father, we thank You and praise You. We thank You for Your Word. We ask You to save the nations for the sake of the righteous people.
